September Video and Pictures!

Brynn and Adrienne:
Found them one school morning with three different types of chocolate cereal for breakfast!

Crazy Hair Day

Wacky Wednesday

Brynn:
Came down to find this breakfast waiting for me one morning!
Used a whole piece of toast to make a tiny toast mustache.

At a friend's birthday party!

Another birthday party!

Each student colored a feather and sent it into the art teacher.  Here is the project she had ready for open house!

A&B were making movies apparently.  We found B shooting this scene as a man with a mustache!

Took her out for ice cream after dance.

She had to have a picture with everything that she could put her face in!

Adrienne:
Not a morning person.

Adrienne's turn in front of the wing project!

Ben and Em:
Out celebrating our friend/neighbor, Lindsay's, 40th!

Date Night!

Doesn't happen that often, so took a few photos ;)

We went to see the "Whose Line is it Anyway?" guys touring to do live shows!  So much fun!

One of the guys had to have surgery last minute, so Chip Esten filled in for him.  He was on the show The Office as the manager at the Stanford branch!

Gunther:  Gunther has been home a week now and is doing extremely well!  He's been sleeping through the night and during the day he goes back and forth between play time and naps.  We still (and always will) miss Butters, but are very happy to give Gunther a home that seems to be a great fit for us all.
It's hilarious how he loves actually watching TV!

Making friends with Mommom and Granddad

Helping us play a game!

Gunther sat and watched an entire half hour video teaching us how to play our new game, 7 Wonders!

Seems he'll be a laundry helper like Butters.

He sleeps so soundly in the funniest positions!

Sound asleep.

He's going to fit in very nicely here!

Checking out Ben's card game.
One of Butters' brothers' families sent us this sweet photo book to remember Butters!

House Updates:  We finally decided to build a shed out back!  Our main motivation is opening up some extra space in the basement for the kids to play.  So- build a shed, move lawn stuff from garage to shed, then move the workbench and tools from the basement to garage.  Of course we had some happy helpers, Debbie and Cleon, complete the project with us!
Laying out the foundation

Building the deck and floor... and adding a lot of rock so no critters can get in or under the shed.

Ready to start building!

Adding the roof!

Finished in one day.  We'll build a ramp sometimes soon!

I took this picture so you can see how it's tucked in the woods in relation to the house.
