As you all probably know, we've had a rough start to 2020. First, we had to say goodbye to Gunther early February. He's had health struggles that have been going on for months and got worse before the new year. Even though we felt like we were making the right decision, it is still hard to deal with and getting used to him not being here. Then we received some other very unfortunate news about a family member. Not going to go into the details on here at this time, but if you are close to us, you already know. That all being said, the blog updates are way late and we are just going to combine everything from January and February!

Gunther was rarely a lap sitter. I had just finished exercising in the basement and sat down to hang out with him and he jumped in my lap. I said I would sit there as long as he wanted to and was down there for a good 45 more minutes. A even brought her homework down to do it in the basement and hang out with us.

We added Pittsburgh and Charleston on either side of our Cincinnati canvas to complete all of our birth cities
You may recall our corner shelves from the "play room." We have since moved them into our office and our next door neighbor was so kind to help make and add the cabinet doors and base molding to make them look built in. We absolutely love how they turned out!
The corner shelves had to move to make room for our game room furniture! The girls were done playing with toys, so we've slowly been converting the dining room to our board game room. Many other updates to come in the next couple of months!
Ben and I got married in the summer of 2005 when we moved from Ohio and started our life together in South Carolina. We have since moved on to the Pittsburgh area. Brynn joined us in June 2008 and we added Adrienne to our family in June 2010. I am living my dream as a stay-at-home mom and Ben is an engineer.
