Last weekend we had our going away party at our house which was bittersweet. We're sad to leave everyone, but ready to get the ball rolling with the move. One of Ben's coworker's brought his son who is a few months older than Brynn. She's not around babies her age often, so it was so much fun to see how they reacted to each other. They went to give each other a hug, then toppled over and Brynn was upset, but she was quick to forgive. Then she got pushed over and she was really upset about that and didn't want to play with the little boy the rest of the night.
Brynn's hair is starting to curl at the ends!
If you notice in this picture, Brynn is wearing a pink bracelet that came in her first purse set. She's been wearing this bracelet for hours everyday this past week!
Last night Brynn had a breakthrough at dinner. We were having spaghetti and meatballs and she fed herself using a fork! She insisted on doing everything herself from getting the meatball on her fork to putting it in her mouth, and you could tell she was so proud of herself after each successful bite. We were just as proud and applauded her for her success too, of course! She's been quite the picky eater the past couple of weeks, playing with her food more than eating. It has been frustrating for us, but last night was definitely a step in the right direction. Hopefully soon she'll get back to her normal eating habits!
