Since I'm not really in the position to travel to Ohio right now, we had a small celebration for Brynn's birthday this past weekend when Grant and Caitlin were in town. It was very relaxing and Brynn had a lot of fun and especially loved her Buddy cake! (Buddy is her favorite character from Dinosaur Train)

Brynn Updates:
-She is TWO years old!
-She's been testing the range of volume with her voice and can get very loud and high-pitched!
-She has to push anything that is or looks like a button and tells us, "Push it!"
-She has already very much hit the "terrible twos" phase and hits you if you upset her or tell her no... we are working on this.
-She very much enjoys wagon rides and will remain seated as long as the wagon is rolling.
-It's very funny to watch her in the waiting room at my dr.'s office. She's very comfortable there since my visits have been so frequent, and she makes friends with anyone in the waiting room telling them what color of chair they are sitting in, what they are wearing, giving them hugs, asking them "How are you?", etc.
One year ago today!
Adrienne Updates:
-Only a week and a half until the due date!
-She's still in the head-down position, no dilation yet
-Everything is ready and waiting for her: the nursery, carseat, clothes are washed and hung, hospital bags are packed, etc.!
-Brynn will pull my shirt up over my belly and then pull it back down and say "Close the blinds!" to Adrienne.
38 WeeksOther Updates:
-Our new patio project is ongoing. We have plans to build a small retaining wall around the perimeter and Ben hopes to make progress on that this weekend. We are hoping to have it complete before the baby gets here, but that may be wishful thinking!
